  • Intern - Part Time

 DESCRIPTION:

This position offers a current undergraduate student the opportunity to gain experience in science communications, graphic design for animation, and storytelling. The student will help create pieces that can be used in professional design portfolios. The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the Animation Intern (See job listing) in the Marketing and Communications Department under the supervision of the User Experience and Design Specialist and will focus on telling NatureServe's story using an animated explainer video. The team will create story boards, design characters and story elements, and animate them to explain what NatureServe does, and how the NatureServe Network works. This will be a team effort; however, the Graphic Design Intern will focus on designing the elements of the explainer video and the Animation Intern will focus on animating them. There is a lot of opportunity for creative liberty in the creation of this explainer video with the hopes of creating something truly unique that the students can be proud of.
